Sponsors & PR Welcome

Sponsors & PR Welcome Page {NEW}

Poor and Gluten Free would love to work with sponsors and PR people from like-minded companies and websites.  We offer a variety of support methods, including advertising opportunities, book and product reviews and sponsored posts.  P&GF has a large and continuously growing following of readers across a wide variety of social media sites, providing exposure to your product across Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Twitter and email.

At present P&GF averages 12,500 unique visitors and 23,00 pageviews on a monthly basis, with over 5,000 followers.

In general, my readers and I strive to live healthy, natural, allergy free and eco-friendly on a budget.  Poor and Gluten Free shares gluten free/allergy free recipes (free of corn syrup, GMOs and highly processed ingredients), DIY tutorials, frugal and sustainability tips, and articles on health, allergies and natural living.  If you think your company is a good fit for us, we’d be happy to hear from you!

Products that would fit well with P&GF include
  • Allergy free, healthy food products (in particular no products with gluten, nuts or corn syrup)
  • Cooking and kitchen items
  • Natural, eco-friendly health and beauty products
  • Green products for the home
  • Clothing and crafts (Etsy shops welcome)

Services Offered:

Product/Book Reviews and Giveaways: Reviews and Giveaways are great ways to promote your product.  At present, reviews are FREE of charge, aside from the non-returnable free product for review.
  • A full-sized sample is required to test and to keep
  • Please allow 3-4 weeks for a review to be posted
  • All reviews will be honest, personal opinions and will include pictures and both pros and cons
  • In the event that a positive review cannot be provided, we will contact you before posting about the product
We highly recommend that you also consider offering a giveaway of your product to benefit from the exposure of our social networks.
  • Giveaways will run for two weeks, unless otherwise discussed
  • They will be actively promoted on the Poor and Gluten Free blog, Google+, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to provide the highest possible exposure
  • Rafflecopter will be used to collect entries, drive traffic to your site and social media, and to randomly select a winner
  • At the end of the giveaway, we will supply you with the winner’s contact information and you will be responsible for supplying them with the product within a few days of the giveaway end date.
Sponsored Posts: We’d be happy to discuss writing sponsored posts for your company (outside of the one post included in the advertising package).  Sponsored posts can be informative in nature, i.e. the history, ethics, charity work of your brand/company, or recipes that include your product.  Sponsored posts will also be promoted across our social media platforms.  Please contact me to discuss!

Advertising: We offer sidebar and footer space for advertising opportunities for companies with products we support.  Ads will appear on every page of the blog.  Sizes are in pixels and ads are subject to approval.
  • Sidebar Text Link - $7/mth
  • Sidebar 125 x 125 - $10/mth
  • Sidebar 250 x 125 - $15/mth
  • Footer 750 x 100 - $30/mth
  • Discounted rates for 6 mth and 1 yr packages available
Included in the cost of your ad is a post about your company in the first month of advertising, as well as mentions on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.

To get the most value for your advertising, we recommend coupling it with a review and giveaway for maximum exposure.

If you are interested in one or more of these sponsorship and advertising options, please contact me to discuss further.  Package rates can be negotiated.  I hope you will consider joining us, as we have much more planned for 2013!

A disclaimer for my readers:

Although I may accept products for review and monetary compensation for sponsorship and advertising, all opinions expressed are my own.  Acceptance of a product for review is not a guarantee of a positive review.

While blogging is a labour of love rather than money, I have chosen to accept sponsorship for Poor and Gluten Free in order to cover the cost of my ingredients, time spent researching and writing articles and reviewing products so that I can continue to expand the blog and provide quality information.

  1. Hey Danielle!

My name is Kinsey Van Druten. I am the Nutritional Consultant for Immuno Laboratories in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are widely recognized as one of the leading food and environmental allergy testing facilities in the world. We offer the Immuno Bloodprint which has been helping people “Eat Well, Feel Well and Live Well” for years. Our blood test can help identify food intolerances or hidden food allergies that may be the cause of chronic conditions such as arthritis, A.D.D. (and hyperactivity), autism, chronic fatigue, diabetes, I.B.S., migraine headaches, otitis media, and more.

The reason I am reaching out to you is to offer you the chance to personally get a feel for our test in hopes to share with your readers! As you know, kids, teens, and adults suffer from underlying food sensitivities they don’t even know they have; or better yet, choose not to associate “x” food with “x” symptom. Our goal is to find each client’s unique food sensitivities so that they are able to find recipes specifically tailored to them for their body and not because it is “vegan,” “paleo,” or “gluten-free.” Kids in particular, are more susceptible today than ever before with developing food allergies. How much easier would it be for the busy parents who read P&GF to know exactly what they should and should not be packing in their children’s lunch?

If you would be interested in finding out first hand your own food sensitivities, please send an email subjected “Poor & Gluten Free” with your contact information to info@immunolabs.com.

We look forward to serving you and your readers!

    1. Hi Steve, my apologies if you've sent an email and I missed it, I've been very behind on blogging and emails lately. Your noodles look great, but I'm based in Canada now and I know that shipping up here is sometimes not worthwhile for US-based companies. If you're still interested, please send me an email at bellyopudge AT gmail DOT com

I'd love to hear from you so go ahead, leave a comment!
